Updated my Samsung Galaxy Mini's Firmware from FROYO 2.2.1 to GINGERBREAD 2.3.4. I was not able to update it via Kies so I used ODIN, as what they call "flashing". Friends told me that there is another way to update it. They gave me a link to see the steps. Please click here. and I just followed it. You just have to download some files and you're done.
